Unlike popular cuisine, where this salad is served with chicken, turkey and/or bacon, our Caesar salad recipe is made without meat. Instead, it includes croutons and parmesan shavings.

Although not high in protein, our Caesar salad is low in calories and is recommended for those on a diet. It is very easy to prepare and the ingredients are natural and organic.

2 lettuce hearts, without leaves
50g Parmesan cheese
4 slices of bread, with crust
5 tablespoons oil
1 egg
2 teaspoons capers
½ teaspoon mustard
1 pinch of Tabasco
1 clove of garlic, peeled
2 tomatoes, 1 lemon, pepper and salt


  1. Brown the bread
    Fry the bread cubes in 2 tablespoons of oil.
  2. Cut the sucrines and tomatoes into pieces
    Cut the sucrines into slices, rinse them quickly with water and squeeze out the water.Cut the tomatoes into pieces
  3. Add the croutons
    Place the chopped leaves and tomatoes in a bowl and add the croutons, which you have blotted with paper towels.
  4. Lightly cook the egg
    Cook the egg in boiling water for 1.5 minutes and then refresh it.
  5. Blending the egg
    Break the egg into the bowl of a blender, add all the other ingredients and blend. Adjust the seasoning and add to the salad.
  6. Serve
    Decorate with parmesan shavings and serve

This caesar salad is an excellent light evening meal. It can be served with a pie or quiche.
